- Cleaning

Note: It’s best to use a corded drill, with an operating speed of 1500-2000 rpm, for this job. Cordless drills usually don’t have the power required to complete this kind of repair. - Attach Polishing Pad
Next, get the velour felt polishing pad that came with the kit, and attach it to the backing pad. Black velour side should be facing the pad and white side is exposed (this is the side that goes on the glass). Now add about half a teaspoon of glass polishing compound to the middle of the pad.
- Polishing Stage
Now hold the pad flat against the glass where the scratches are and start the drill. Always keep the pad flat on the glass and slowly move from left to right and up and down. Keep a firm and even pressure as you move the pad across the windshield. Continue this process until the slurry is dry and then add a small amount of water to the pad and repeat. Do this as many times as required until the glass is clear of scratches.
- Final Clean Up and Inspection
Wipe the surface clean and look for any tiny scratches. Your glass should now be crystal clear. If you still see any scratches, you may repeat step 4 again until it disappears.
For Deeper Scratches and Cracks
